A Blackburn Rovers fan was found unconscious with a head injury during a Premier League match at Stoke City.

The man is in a critical state at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

It is believed the injured man, thought to be in his late 20s, was hit on the head with a bin. A 25-year-old man has been arrested.
